CAMPAIGN: Scotland

The Network Rail 'Don't Run The Risk' campaign continued with an awareness session at Waverley Station, Edinburgh.

There have been over 1500 reported instances of level crossing abuse in Scotland in the last twelve months. This year's highest fatality accident at a level crossing also occurred in Scotland.

Ron McAulay, Network Rail, Director Scotland noted that some of the worst level crossings offenders in the region are the 'impatient' over-65s.
